Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026
The short version: the calculator is never tracked. It has no user accounts, runs no analytics or tracking scripts, and never collects or stores anything you type into it. Every calculation runs locally in your browser and never touches a server. Our public website pages (home, about, privacy, and terms) do use the Meta Pixel to measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform.

1. Information we don't collect

The Tool itself — ages, account balances, income, spending, and every other figure you enter — is processed entirely client-side, in your browser. None of it is transmitted to us, stored by us, or visible to us in any form.

2. Information collected during purchase

When you buy access, Stripe (our payment processor) collects what it needs to process payment and issue a receipt — typically your name, email, and payment details. That information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy, not by us. We receive your email address as the purchaser of record, which we use only to send access instructions and respond to support requests.

3. Cookies and tracking

The calculator is not tracked. The Tool runs on its own separate page and loads no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. Nothing you enter into it, and nothing about how you use it, is shared with us, Meta, or anyone else.

Our public website pages use the Meta Pixel. The home, about, privacy, and terms pages at rothtaxplanner.com include the Meta Pixel, an advertising tool from Meta Platforms, Inc. When you visit these pages, the Pixel may set cookies and send Meta information such as the page you viewed, your browser and device type, and your IP address. Meta may link this to your Facebook or Instagram account. We use the resulting reports to measure our ads and show them to people likely to find the Tool useful. We do not receive your name or contact details from the Pixel. Meta's use of this information is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy.

Your choices. You can manage how Meta uses this information for ads in your Facebook ad preferences, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not affect how the calculator works.

Payment. Stripe's checkout page may use its own cookies as part of processing your payment; that's covered under their policy, not ours.

4. Data retention

Because we don't collect calculator data, there's nothing to retain or delete on that front. We retain purchase-related emails only as long as needed to provide support and honor the refund policy. Data collected by the Meta Pixel is retained by Meta under its own policies.

5. Children's privacy

RothTaxPlanner is not directed at, and should not be used by, anyone under 18.

6. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if we add other analytics or advertising tools — we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
